Configuring an email autoresponder is easy with your online control panel. You can access your control panel by going to:

http://www.yourdomain.com/stats

To log in, you will need to use your userid and password. This is the same information you would use to log into your account via ftp. After you log into your account, click on the Service Info button. Once you are in the service section, you will see a list of the services you have with CWS. Click on the userid of your hosting account.

You will see a list of service information for that hosting account including email accounts, email forwarding, and autoreponders. Click on the Update Info button on the bottom of the screen.

In order to use the autoresponder feature you must have at least one POP3 account configured. For more information on this, see "How do I configure my email accounts?"

You can edit any of the fields you are presented by simply changing the information.

The File to send should be in the root of your hosting account and the Notify Account must be a valid POP3 account.

Your .txt file should look something like this:

You can also set up a general info autoresponder. For example, if you wanted to have a price sheet that people can get automatically. To do this, your configuration might look something like this:

Again, the file to send should be in the root of your hosting account and the notify address should be the address you want to receive the sender's email.

NOTE: All changes made in the control panel are queued and completed during the next server update. Please allow 12 hours for all changes to take effect.
